ADAES Curriculum
The Advanced Diploma in Applied Educational Studies (ADAES) requires 120 credits. The Curriculum is arranged in nine modules (each 20 Credits) with nine sessions in each Module.

Research Project This includes a supervised school-based research project on which a 10,000-word report is submitted. Module 12966 Dynamics of Curriculum Change Christian Values and the Hidden Curriculum A Process for School Mission Statements Special Challenges of PP Senior Cycle Work of the NCAA Evaluation of Curriculum Change Dynamics of School Planning Strategies for Staff Development Student Councils Participative Workshop Module 12967 Christian Leadership in Education Ethos of a Christian School Values of a Christian School Leadership for Change in a Christian School School Headship: Preparation and Support Myth, Ritual and Symbols in a Christian School School and the Law The Future of Trusteeship The Future of Catholic Education Participative Workshop Module 12968 Research Methods in Education This module introduces students to the concepts and methodologies of educational research. It gives opportunities to develop ICT competencies and investigate possible web-based educational data banks. This module is taught by staff from the University of Hull towards the end of June each year. |
