Advanced Diploma in Education (ADAES)
120 Credits
- To qualify for the Advanced Diploma in Education, the student completes six modules over two years.
- Each module includes nine units. Each unit requires three hours of lectures and tutorials at the Mardyke House, Cork, on Wednesdays from 4:00pm-7:00pm.
- Summer School is held anually towards the end of June.
- The student's work is assessed through 5,000-word essays and 10,000-word reports.
- Fees for 2007 are €350 per module.

Masters Degree in Education (MEd)
180 Credits
Upon completion of the Advanced Diploma, students may prepare for the Masters Degree in Education. This involves researching and writing, under supervision, a 20,000-word dissertation.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
CLEO offers a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme through the University of Hull.
The PhD programme includes two taught modules in aspects of educational research methodology. The programme takes at least three years of part-time study and research under supervision.
